Part-Time Caregiver Team Lead
Senior Shield Home Care | Alexis Estates — Allen, TX
Starting pay: $17/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 4–8 p.m. (20 hours per week)
Location: On-site at Alexis Estates in Allen, TX
Reports to: Senior Shield management
Bring your caregiving experience and help lead a growing team. Senior Shield Home Care is looking for an experienced, dependable caregiver who is ready to take on leadership responsibilities at Alexis Estates.
You’ll work on-site supporting clients during evening care and helping fellow caregivers stay organized. You’ll communicate care concerns and team needs to Senior Shield management as you grow into greater leadership responsibility. Our focus is consistent, respectful care, clear handoffs, and teamwork with management to address concerns.
This is a hands-on evening caregiving position with day-to-day team support. Strong performance and growing client needs may create opportunities for additional hours and greater responsibility in quality assurance and leading the Alexis team.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assistance with daily activities according to each client’s care plan.
- Assist with mobility and transfers using gait belts, Hoyer lifts, and safe techniques.
- Provide scheduled medication reminders.
- Help guide fellow caregivers, support clear shift handoffs, and communicate coverage concerns to management.
- Help new caregivers learn client routines and care expectations.
- Document care, flag gaps in care or follow-through, and promptly report changes or concerns.
Required qualifications
- Hands-on caregiving experience, including gait belt and Hoyer lift use.
- Availability for the Monday–Friday evening schedule at Alexis Estates.
- Dependability, sound judgment, and clear, respectful communication.
- Ability to set a positive example and provide constructive guidance.
- Interest in growing into a larger team leadership role.
Preferred: Previous caregiver lead, training, or supervisory experience.
